Look Ma, no canvas....This is just a simple JS catching game without the use of HTML5 canvas. Click and drag the monster back n' forth to catch the food as it falls. Feed the monster only thanksgiving food to win the game. Sound effects can really make the difference between an entertaining game and "meh". I'm still trying to work out what audio and/or music I'd like to have.
Why did I do it without canvas? I wanted to make it pure JS with a high level of backwards compatibility. While it works well on desktop its not completely compatible on mobile yet. The dragging the monster with touch events is a bit choppy and there are just a couple other kinks I need to work out. I'll also admit there is just a little bit of JQuery to help tie the game together but concept is there.
